WEDDING BOOKINGS
The choir has performed at well over 150 weddings during the past 15 years.
We use these bookings as a way to raise funds for the choir. The cost of booking the choir varies dependent upon the needs of the booking - but a rough guide is:
Our charge for weddings in the Valleys area is approximately £325
Outside of this area but within a radius of about 20 miles then it increases to £350
If your booking is outside of this 20 mile radius then we will need to hire a bus and this cost will need to be covered in the charge
We have sung at many varying locations for weddings ranging from traditional churches, castles, manor houses and country houses (we have travelled as far as Lincoln, Taunton, Hay on Wye, Petersfield to bring the Sound of Wales to the wedding).
We are equally at home in singing at the wedding itself or the reception following on from the wedding.
We would normally sing 5 songs prior to the bride's arrival and then 3 for the signing of the register.
We can sing the bride in and the 'happy' couple out if required.
The song choices can change dependent upon the needs of the couple/venue (currently in many civil weddings there is a restriction on the type of song permitted) - so it always makes sense to discuss song choices with the registrar or vicar/priest.

Keep in mind that songs marked with an * are not normally permitted during a civil service
The inclusion of a choir at your wedding will make it a great occasion for all.
We are willing to discuss including other songs- however please keep in mind that we sing four part harmony and they take a 'lot of learning'.
We obviously join in with any hymns that are sung.
We are more than happy to have a photo with the bride and groom at the end of the ceremony.
